Billing & Plans
Velocity offers four plan tiers with increasing feature access. Manage your subscription, view usage, and upgrade from Settings.

Managing Your Subscription
Go to Settings → Billing to view your current plan, usage meters, and subscription details.
View current plan
The billing page shows your active plan with a comparison of all tiers. Features included in your plan are highlighted.
Upgrade
Click Upgrade on a higher-tier plan card. You will be redirected to Stripe Checkout to complete the payment. The upgrade takes effect immediately.
Manage subscription
Click Manage Subscription to open the Stripe Customer Portal. From there you can update payment methods, view invoices, or cancel.
Usage Meters
The billing page displays usage meters for plan-limited resources:
- Members — current count vs. plan limit
- Issues — total issues vs. plan limit
- Integrations — active integrations vs. plan limit
- AI Budget — monthly spend vs. included budget
Plan-Gated Features
When you try to access a feature that requires a higher plan, Velocity shows an upgrade prompt with the minimum plan required. These prompts include a direct link to the billing page for easy upgrades.
Stripe Integration
All payment processing is handled by Stripe. Velocity uses Stripe Checkout for upgrades and the Stripe Customer Portal for subscription management. Webhook events (checkout.session.completed, customer.subscription.updated,customer.subscription.deleted, and invoice events) keep subscription state synchronized.
Velocity never stores credit card details. All payment information is handled securely by Stripe.
